Blush pink was first seen on Autumn/Winter catwalks in Paris and Milan last season. It became really popular with fashionistas and it was quick to translate into the world of interior design. The delicate hues in the palest of pinks allow the edges of modern design to be softened. Blush pink can be used as an accent colour to bring a touch of elegance to an otherwise neutral interior, or it can be used liberally throughout a room to really make an impact.

We love the crisp white walls, light wooden floorboards and simple blush throw in this image. A subtle and elegant way to introduce this pastel pink.

If you are bold enough, using a light pink colour on a feature wall can really make a room pop. Make sure to pair it with light coloured wooden floors and neutrals. For a more contemporary twist add black, white and grey into the mix.

Grey and pink tones are always such a perfect combination. Use pillows, throws and bedding to embrace these colours. And if you’re brave enough a beautiful rich grey feature wall!
