Simple Swedish Style

This stunning light filled two bedroom apartment in Sweden has an understated elegance. The kitchen in particular is jaw droppingly beautiful which centers around an ornate tiled and stucco stove while the door furniture in brass and paint  colours in soft grey tinged greens have been chosen to compliment the original stove.

A window has been lovingly restored to become a feature where the kitchen and the entrance area meet. A small space on the latter’s side becoming utilized as a small bench seat.

The living space continues the theme through from the kitchen, using a combination of old and new to create a balanced area. A vintage looking chandelier is the main pendant light while the Serge Mouille wall light stops the space form becoming a little country house chic.

Both bedrooms are filled with linen bedding, classic arm chairs and simple artwork.

The bathroom takes it to the next level with a winning combination of marble, subway tiles, a mature green paint colour and an antique chest of drawers that has been turned into the vanity.
