Inspired by the concept of purifying and re-interpreting the aesthetic beauty found in everyday objects, designer Catherine Lovatt’s bowls subtracts from the archetypal form creating a functional object with a unique design language.
Crafted from high quality glazed ceramic, the bowl eschews the superfluous to focus on the core elements of the object: the cylindrical volume and a most unique interpretation of handles realised in tubular forms. Her series of tableware exploring the possibilities of simple, geometric forms create an inspiring table-scape that adds life and vibrancy to daily routine.

Family Set is the first line of designs in white and grey by Catherine Lovatt, consisting of a series of cylinders. Simple and minimalistic designs that relate closely to everyday life. Catherine sees these aesthetics as having everything to do with logic with how the materials, production and functionality fit together.
